Stock Cabinetry

Using pre-made and RTA cabinets can be a great way of remodeling your kitchen. These cabinets are much more budget friendly then custom and semi-custom cabinets, but still offer a nice variety of door styles and finishes.  Since these cabinets are manufactured in advance, their size and options cannot be changed or customized.  All of our pre-made cabinets have solid wood doors and drawer fronts, and most offer options that you would have to pay extra for with semi-custom and custom cabinets. These options include paint and glaze finishes, plywood box construction, wood dovetail drawer boxes, and drawer glides with full extension and soft close. Many will also offer 'custom' touches like wood legs and carvings or wood hood enclosures. A well designed pre-made kitchen can often look almost as good as a custom kitchen, for a fraction of the cost.

Many of our stock cabinets come with the following options (please ask us about the details):

  • Full overlay door panels
  • 4 and 6 way adjustable hinges (soft close option available)
  • Adjustable 5/8" thick plywood shelves
  • 1/2" thick solid wood dovetail drawer boxes
  • Full extension, undermount glides with soft close
  • 1/2" thick plywood box construction
  • Reinforcement brackets for base cabinets

Our stock cabinets go through a 10 step finishing process to ensure the perfect look:

  • The finest cabinet grade wood is sanded until smooth and vacuumed
  • An equalizer stain is applied to balance the base color of wood
  • A toner is applied to establish color uniformity
  • A deep penetrating stain is applied to reveal the hidden beauty of the natural grain
  • All stained surfaces are hand rubbed and wiped of excess stain and slowly air dried
  • A wood sealer is applied, penetrating all exposed wood surfaces for uniform protection
  • All surfaces are hand sanded, providing a smooth, consistent surface
  • A glaze is applied by hand (if applicable)
  • A color consistency examination is performed with additional touch-up if needed
  • A final protection op coat is applied, maximizing resiatance to scuffing, moisture, fading and most household chemicals
